Night Post
What happens
Jo fixes a bug at midnight and, the old way, walks the update round to Ray's door. Then he ships it properly: cbx release 1.4.0 names the version and cbx attach puts the installer on it. CodeRook writes the update feed itself, checksums included, while the project holding the source stays private. At 7:10 the next morning Ray opens Kettle; it has already found 1.4.0, and one click installs it.
Why it matters
An app that updates itself needs somewhere to fetch its updates from. Any public CodeRook project can be that place: electron-updater's ordinary generic provider reads the feed straight from it, so there is no separate download server to run, and the code behind the app can stay private.
